The MonteViDeo B&B Blog
The MonteViDeo B&B Blog
This is my page. English as many of you know is not my first language. Surely not preferred writing language. So if the faults are monumental bear with me while I learn. I will appreciate all help and corrections highly. So please give me a shout when something is terribly wrong.
This page takes you to first of all the Montevideo B&B Building blog. That’s where I will show and talk about my trials living in Uruguay and more importantly building a business, a B&B in an old colonial house in downtown Montevideo Uruguay. The House is ninety years old, circa 900 m2, on two levels. A fantastic building. The entrance (pics to come) and the height of the ceiling (4,60 meters) is what make it a great house for a B&B and a small bar/restaurant. It has two patios witch will make beautiful outside areas for the dinner and lodging guests. And get the well-wanted escape from the bustling MVD (Montevideo) streets. The B&B will consist of ten guest rooms in the beginning and six more to come within the year of opening, all with private baths. In the restaurant we are looking to have around sixty seats, witch will rise to about 80-90 if we get license to put tables on the street outside.
That in short is the blog project. Hopefully it will make you interested in what we are doing so far down south and maybe I will get your curiosity built up for a trip to south America, and finally maybe I will have the pleasure to host you in our B&B when the building is done and we open the doors to public.
I write novels as well but thankfully I do it in Swedish. Imagine the disaster if I wrote in English! So the following link is for all my Swedish friends. Mjwalther.net
With me on this project is my beautiful wife Patricia. Her two kids Luciano 17 and Camila 6. My Rottweiler Bilbo and our “Living the life” cat Ray.
